We provide our students with a continuum of counseling support
This is another aspect of our support that sets us apart from all other counseling services. We are the only Counseling Center that offers a lifetime of support to students for one small administrative fee. All others charge much more that we do and only offer one-time support of students. We measure our success by the students that we serve and are committed to being here to support them from degree exploration to admission, and then all the way to graduation.
When we say we offer a continuum of support to our students, we are serious. We encourage our students to contact us when they are ready to enroll in the courses for the upcoming academic term at the college or university of their choice and let us know what courses they intend to take. If we have tuition-free courses in one or more of the subjects the student is considering, we'll let them know so they can spend their educational investment wisely. Also, when the semester wraps up, we ask them to let us know their scores on the courses they just completed, as well as any college examinations they might have passed. We'll add that to their record and update their degree plan to keep them on track to complete the degree.
What happens when a student completes additional professional training at his or her place of employment or in the military? We encourage them to let us know so we can update their academic record in our system and send them a revised degree plans.
The Degree Quest system is designed with a progress meter that tracks the progress of students from admission to graduation. A red indicator in the last column is a minimum academic requirement that has not yet been met. When all of these red indicators turn green, the student should be ready to graduate. When students provide us with updates as they complete each requirement, we can then track this progression and congratulate them on achieving their goal.

Our administrative fee covers support at the level provided. In other words, if a student has paid for undergraduate degree support, we are not simply going to provide them with support at the Associate's degree level, then walk away from them when they don the cap and gown to receive their AA or AS degree. When they finish that degree, we will re-engage our degree exploration system, Degree Quest, and continue providing them with support at the baccalaureate level. The courses that applied to the Associate's degree will laterally transfer into baccalaureate degrees and our resources will be instrumental in helping them continue to progress upward to achieve the next level in their quest for a degree.
Similarly, when a student pays the one-time administrative fee for graduate level support, our assistance does not end when the student earns a Master's degree. We'll fire up our Degree Quest system and help the student find the right doctorate program of study to consider.
One small administrative fee provides a lifetime of support at the level desired. We are there to help our students make it to the top and achieve their goals, no matter how high that is.
