More Adult Learners Are Returning to College Than Ever Before!

More adult learners are going to college now than ever in the history of this nation. Take a look at the chart below and you will see by the green line that the projections that the U.S. Department of Education made regarding rising enrollments were far less than the actual increase in enrollments that occurred over the five year period from 2002 to 2007. As you can see by the upper green line, the government fully expected the economic downturn to slow down the growth rates, yet, as the red line extension shows, the same phenomenal growth rate occurred from 2007-2009 and on into 2010, even continuing in 2011 and beyond. Adult learners are going back to college in record numbers.

As you have seen throughout this website, not only can we connect students to affordable degree programs from excellent colleges and universities across the nation, but our resources can be an effective tool to help reduce the costs students encounter in pursuit of degrees. As such, with support from the National College Counseling Center, students can reduce the amount of money they spend in pursuit of their degrees, while actually accelerating their progress and enhancing their success along the way. Clearly, our support can be invaluable to students. Also, federal law allows organizations to cover our administrative fee from the existing educational benefits available to employees.
